THE NETWORK
VRC maintains telemetering networks for the following three volcanic areas :
Fuji Volcano
Five seismic stations with tilt measurement at a station and underground temperature measurement at another station.
Kusatsu-Shirane Volcano
Six seismic stations with underground and fumarolic temperature measurements at two stations.
Izu area
Four seismic stations (one of them is submarine) with tilt measurement at two stations.
